About Us
This will be our 23rd year of providing hockey instruction to male and female players from 5 to 55 in Edmonton and throughout northern Alberta. We take pride in our smaller class sizes, our quality instructors, our excellent blend of power skating component and hockey skills development. Players who have participated in our excellent program have moved on to play all levels including college and Professional hockey. Join us for another summer of skill development and fun.
MILLENNIUM PLACE ARENA is located in Sherwood Park, a suburb east of Edmonton. A facility that has two arenas, an indoor track, indoor soccer field, gym, pool and more.
TRI LEISURE CENTRE is located on highway 16A, in the west end of Spruce Grove, AB. A new facility that has 2 ice surfaces, pool, indoor soccer field and more.
WHITECOURT TWIN ARENA is located in Whitecourt AB on Highway 43 Northwest of Edmonton. A excellent facility in an active sport community. Whitecourt is a prosperous, growing community. A recreational paradise.
SERVICES AVAILABLE
Skate sharpening by our staff is available during the Hockey School at some locations. Hockey equipment information session is done for all participants. Parents/Friends are welcome to observe all ice sessions.
STAFF
One of our greatest strengths is our instructors. Our Hockey School draws from an extensive list of experienced, high energy and enthusiastic group of instructors. Our staff have very effective interpersonal skills to relate well with the players on and off the ice. They are all players and/or coaches from Junior, College, University and the NHL. We have had a number of NHL players who have made guest appearances over the past years.
Our Powerskating instructor adds a very important component to our Hockey School Program. Our instructors are directed and coached by Ron Chyzowski, who is the Head Instructor/Director for the Hockey School. He has played and is presently coaching in Germany.
